Kayla & Emma

This shoot was arranged with the plan to have ONE photo made into a 16'x20' gallery wrap on canvas. The girls, (and their mom), wanted to give it to their dad for father's day. I selected two locations. The first was in Monroe. We rushed to shoot in a field for about 8 minutes knowing that a down pour was imminent. As it started ...to rain, we drove towards the second location in Snohomish, which is ten minutes away, where it was totally clear. Just before coming into town, I looked back towards Monroe and saw those dramatic looking clouds. We pulled off to the side of the road, setup, and used the clouds for my backdrop. This was the photo the family chose to have blown up, not using the preconceived locations. It looks 10x's better blown up and on canvas than seeing it on a computer screen. It was given to their dad early, displayed at Kayla's graduation party.See More

Kat & Dan

After putting off Kat & Dan's engagement session due to rainy weather, we finally got to get out Sunday and hit the Bothell Park Landing, and Chateau Saint Michelle Winery. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next month. They wanted a few shots of their 4 year old Black Lab and 6 month old 80 lb. Malmute. They are a great couple!
