Middle of nowhere

On the way back from shooting a wedding last weekend in Spokane, I wanted to scope out this old abandoned house about 1/2 mile north of highway 2, east of Waterville. There was no road to take us directly to the house, so we drove as close to it as we could, which took us to a graveyard, still about a half mile hike across a plowed field to get to the house. Although the tombstones are obviously updated, I suspect family members that lived in the house are buried at the cemetery. 1849 is when Helfrich was born. He died in 1935. You can see a tree to the right of Becky, on the horizon, which is where we parked, (where the cemetery is located). The house would be behind me. This kind of stuff always interests me.
